In a Facebook post, the Ghana Police Service stated that, three (3) Police Officers have died in a gory accident today 27th March, 2024 at Kyekyewere on the Accra-Kumasi highway.
“With a heavy heart, the Ghana Police Service mourns three of their gallant officers who lost their lives in a fatal accident today at Kyekyewere along the Accra – Kumasi Highway while on their way for Police operational duties.
In line with Ghanaian tradition and the Ghana Police Service Regulations, full details will be communicated after the bereaved families are formally informed.” The post read.
The deceased officers were believed to be in convoy of FPU vehicle heading to kwahu ahead of the Easter festivities.
