A lecturer at the University of Media Arts and Communication – Institute of Journalism (UniMAC-IJ), Mr. Daniel Obeng Acquah, popularly known as Ubuntu, donated his authored books, the UBUNTU Series, to Ofori Panin Senior High School (OPASS), his alma mater on May 17, 2024.

Mr. Daniel Obeng Acquah stated that the donation aims to stock the school’s library with textbooks, providing all students, especially the underprivileged, with access to quality educational resources.

He encouraged the students to take their studies seriously by developing a habit of reading to broaden their horizons. He also urged them to take good care of the donated books.

The headmaster, Mr. Ernest Gyimah, received the donation and praised Mr. Daniel Obeng Acquah for his generosity. He called on other well-meaning individuals, civil society organizations, and non-governmental organizations to emulate this gesture to ensure quality education for the socio-economic development of the country.
